During a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday, former President Donald Trump strongly criticized President Joe Biden, labeling him as a significant danger to the democratic system.

Speaking at a campaign event in the pivotal swing state alongside Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, who garnered Trump’s endorsement in Ohio’s GOP primary, Trump repeatedly targeted Biden in his speech, particularly focusing on the escalating border crisis, which has reached unprecedented levels under Biden’s administration.

Trump also accused Biden of leveraging the Department of Justice to pursue him, a claim he has made consistently since facing legal challenges.

Asserting, “Joe Biden is a significant threat to our democracy,” Trump highlighted Biden’s alleged incompetence as the primary concern. He also accused Biden of exploiting federal agencies like the Justice Department and the FBI to target him politically.

Trump criticized Biden’s presidency, declaring it as unprecedentedly poor and marked by incompetence and corruption.

Currently entangled in four criminal trials, including legal battles related to contesting the 2020 election results and mishandling classified information post-presidency, Trump continues to portray himself as a victim of political persecution.

Biden, meanwhile, faced scrutiny over his handling of classified documents during his tenure as vice president, although a special counsel investigation led by Robert Hur opted against pressing charges due to concerns over Biden’s portrayal as an elderly man with a poor memory.

Trump cited the case of Laken Riley, a Georgia nursing student murdered by an illegal immigrant, as evidence of the consequences of Biden’s policies. Trump accused Biden of prioritizing apologies to criminals over condolences to victims’ families.

Highlighting Biden’s repeated characterization of him and his supporters as threats to democracy, Trump dismissed these claims as politically motivated hoaxes perpetuated by the Left and the media. He instead argued that Biden’s corruption and incompetence pose the real threat to the democratic process.
