Individual Accusing Biden of Criminal Bribery Scheme Identified as ‘Highly Credible’ FBI Source Utilized Since Obama Administration: Insider

During a departure from the White House for a campaign trip to California, President Joe Biden responded to a reporter’s inquiry about his preference for the 2024 general election opponent among the two remaining GOP candidates. Biden, who only entertained one question, declined to express whether he would rather face former President Donald Trump, the presumed Republican nominee, or former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, who anticipates victory in her home state of South Carolina.

“I don’t care,” Biden remarked with a chuckle before boarding Marine One.

While Biden indicated neutrality regarding his Republican challenger, he has recently emphasized the perceived threats posed by Trump and the “extreme” MAGA movement to American democracy during his campaign efforts.

“The president recognizes the critical nature of the upcoming November elections for the American populace,” stated Biden campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa. “Donald Trump epitomizes everything that President Biden stands against and has achieved since assuming office, and the campaign’s primary focus over the next nine months will be highlighting this stark contrast for voters.”

In theoretical head-to-head election polls, Biden fares better against Trump than Haley. Several polls show Trump with a slight lead over Biden, while others deem such a matchup too close to call. On the other hand, Haley holds a double-digit lead over Biden in numerous prospective head-to-head scenarios, a fact she has highlighted on the campaign trail.

“Under Trump, we faced defeats in 2018, 2020, and 2022. How many times do we need to experience this before realizing it’s not a winning strategy?” Haley remarked to a gathering of supporters in South Carolina in late January. “Examine any of the general election polls. One released yesterday indicated that Donald Trump trailed Biden by 7 points. Today’s poll had a margin of error. In each of these polls, I lead Biden by up to 17 points.”
