It’s widely known that former President Donald Trump is not shy about engaging in verbal sparring and employing derogatory labels against his adversaries. The latest target of Trump’s criticism is former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who found herself in the line of fire on Tuesday.
McEnany had suggested on Fox News that it might be advisable for the former president to refrain from commenting on Nikki Haley and instead concentrate on the upcoming election. Unsurprisingly, Trump swiftly reacted to McEnany’s remarks, labeling her a “RINO” (Republican in name only) and advising her to “Save your advice for Nikki!”
Trump posted on his Truth Social Platform: “I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox. Just had a GIANT VICTORY over a badly failing candidate, ‘Birdbrain,’ and she’s telling me what I can do better. Save your advice for Nikki!”

Trump became displeased when Kayleigh suggested that the ex-president had vulnerabilities and should shift his campaign focus toward targeting President Joe Biden.
“If I’m Trump, I sit back, and I exclusively focus on the general election. I take the posture of a presumptive nominee. I focus on, No. 1, uniting the party, and No. 2, winning the independents, which Nikki Haley won 55%-39%,” McEnany said. “That’s what I would do.”
McEnany also pointed out that a recent poll indicated that nearly 70% of those who supported Haley in the New Hampshire election stated they would not back Trump in the general election.
In Ohio’s Primary, Nikki Haley secured the third position, and in New Hampshire, she came in second, trailing Trump by approximately 11 points. Following Ohio’s Primary, the second-place finisher, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, suspended his campaign, citing a lack of a clear path to victory over Trump.
Some individuals have expressed disappointment in Trump’s tendency to take a confrontational approach and belittle those who challenge him, especially considering that the two women mentioned were hired by Trump and appointed to significant positions during his presidency.
Trump has also directed criticism towards Fox News, accusing the network of leaning towards the Left. Trump wrote: “CNN & MSDNC TREATED MY BIG, DOUBLE DIGIT VICTORY OVER BIRDBRAIN, BETTER THAN FOX!”
