Republicans to Cite FBI Director Wray for Contempt of Congress Regarding Biden Document

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, provided insights into Hunter Biden’s unexpected presence at his contempt of Congress hearing. Speaking to Fox News, Comer highlighted a crucial moment during the hearing when Biden, accompanied by attorneys Abbe Lowell and Kevin Morris, abruptly stood up and exited the room as the microphone was handed over to Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia.

Comer shared on “The Ingraham Angle” that despite some Democrats’ assertions that Biden’s appearance was a publicity victory, the detailed account of events suggested otherwise.

“He was there for about 15 minutes. [Florida Democrat Jared] Moskowitz was recognized. He said ‘Hunter Biden is here to answer questions’, and then his time expired,” Comer said.

“I recognized Marjorie Taylor Greene. She was going to ask Hunter Biden questions because Moskowitz said he was there to answer questions. As soon as he realized Marjorie Taylor Greene was going to ask him a question, they ran out of there. They knocked over people on the way out the door.”

Upon Biden and his legal team departing, Greene commented, stating, “Excuse me, Hunter, apparently you’re afraid of my words.”

Comer asserted that this incident demonstrated Biden’s lack of intention to address any questions during the hearing. He highlighted it as yet another instance showcasing Biden’s enduring “arrogance and entitlement” throughout his life.

“Look, this is an investigation of Joe Biden. It’s about what his family did to receive the millions of dollars from our enemies around the world. And we just have simple questions that we need to ask Hunter Biden in a deposition,” Comer said.

Subsequently, another Republican participant in the hearing, Representative Nancy Mace from South Carolina, shared with “Jesse Watters Primetime” that the interruptions were not exclusive to Greene.

Mace detailed how interruptions from the Democratic side occurred during her allotted speaking time before Moskowitz took the floor. She underscored being the sole Republican able to engage with Biden during her time, particularly after the unexpected appearance of the first son.
