In a one-day, four-city swing, conservative commentator Candace Owens is set to join 2024 presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy on the campaign trail in Iowa.

Owens, aged 34, initially criticized Trump before endorsing him in both 2016 and 2020. In November, she expressed her support for Ramaswamy, a self-made millionaire and biotech entrepreneur, following the NBC News debate in Miami, Florida. During this time, Ramaswamy gained popularity among the Republican voting bloc and had several viral moments.

With eight days remaining until the January 15 caucuses and four days before the first-in-the-nation contest, Owens will accompany Ramaswamy during his intensive campaign efforts in Iowa. Ramaswamy recently completed visits to all 99 counties in the Hawkeye State twice earlier this month.

On January 11, Ramaswamy and Owens will attend a rally in Davenport, followed by a town hall in Jackson County. Subsequently, they will head to Dubuque and Linn Counties, concluding the full day of campaigning with two more rallies.

Campaign senior adviser Tricia McLaughlin expressed enthusiasm about Owens joining the campaign trail, stating, “Candace is a conservative powerhouse. We’re thrilled to have her on the Iowa campaign trail with Vivek as he pounds the pavement ahead of the caucuses.”

Ramaswamy, consistently ranking fourth in polls behind Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, has garnered 6 percent support in the FiveThirtyEight polling average in Iowa. Despite trailing in the polls, the campaign remains optimistic about his chances in the upcoming caucuses on January 15. Ramaswamy has scheduled 14 events from January 8 to January 10, with additional engagements planned leading up to the caucuses.
