Addressing allegations from DeSantis and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, both rivals in the nomination race, Haley denied actively seeking the opportunity to be Trump’s running mate. Christie suggested that her reluctance to criticize Trump strongly indicated her desire for the vice-presidential role.
