Recently unsealed court documents allege that former President Bill Clinton forcefully entered the Vanity Fair newsroom and “threatened” staff members to dissuade them from publishing stories regarding sex trafficking accusations against his associate Jeffrey Epstein. This revelation comes from the latest batch of files linked to Jeffrey Epstein, released Thursday night.

Virginia Giuffre, an accuser of Epstein, mentioned the claim about Clinton in a 2011 email exchange with journalist Sharon Churcher from the Daily Mail. Churcher was advising Giuffre on whether to conduct an interview and sell a photo to the publication, also offering assistance in securing a book deal at that time.

“When I was doing some research into VF yesterday, it does concern me what they could want to write about me considering that B.Clinton walked into VF and threatened them not to write sex-trafficing [sic] articles about his good friend J.E,” Giuffre wrote in the email.

It remains unclear how Virginia Giuffre acquired information about the alleged threats, with former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter refuting the claim, stating, “This categorically did not happen.”

In a separate document released on Thursday, Clinton was identified as an individual who “traveled with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and may have information about Ghislane Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual trafficking conduct.” A Clinton spokesperson referred to a 2019 statement, emphasizing that the former president was unaware of the crimes Epstein was accused of, having not spoken to him in well over a decade.

The recent release of files, following an initial batch on Wednesday, features numerous prominent figures, including Clinton, Prince Andrew, and the late scientist Stephen Hawking, who were associated with Epstein.

Additional documents, expected to be filed on Friday and possibly Monday, may name over 170 Epstein associates, ex-employees, and victims, totaling 240 documents in the defamation lawsuit settled by Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell in 2015.

The unredacted documents from the lawsuit, ordered for release by Judge Loretta Preska, include disturbing claims such as Prince Andrew’s alleged involvement in an “underage orgy.” Testimonies from “Jane Doe 3” and Johanna Sjoberg detail coercive sexual encounters with Prince Andrew and Epstein. Sjoberg also testified about Epstein’s comments on Bill Clinton’s preferences and a suggestion to stop at one of Donald Trump’s casinos.

The comprehensive document release sheds light on a disturbing web of associations and allegations involving Epstein, Maxwell, and various high-profile individuals.
