NFL icon Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski played a pivotal role alongside the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) in presenting two cars to deserving veterans in anticipation of the Army-Navy football game scheduled for Saturday.
As a proud sponsor of the highly anticipated match between West Point’s U.S. Military Academy and Annapolis’s U.S. Naval Academy, USAA orchestrated the car donations to Army Sgt. Robert Trevino and Navy Petty Officer Kyle Kohlgraf. These individuals were nominated for the generous gesture by nonprofit organizations.
Sgt. Robert Trevino, who suffered paralysis in a car accident, was the recipient of a specially modified truck tailored to accommodate his unique needs. The thoughtful donation aimed to enhance the quality of life for a veteran facing physical challenges.
“Truly an honor to join @USAA for their NABC Recycled Rides program which refurbishes vehicles for those in need,” he wrote. “This year, we gifted two vehicles to two deserving military families representing both Army and Navy – great to be back in Boston ahead of this year’s Army-Navy Game!”
