Former President Donald Trump did not firmly commit to adhering to a federal judge’s admonition, which advised him to abstain from issuing public statements that might be interpreted as endeavors to intimidate witnesses or influence potential jurors. He also insinuated that he would decline a plea agreement if it were proposed in a distinct legal matter.

During his visit to the Iowa State Fair, Trump was questioned regarding the directive issued by Judge Tanya Chutkan. She oversees Special Counsel Jack Smith’s legal proceedings against the ex-President, pertaining to allegations of his involvement in endeavors to overturn the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

“We’ll have to take a look at the order,” Trump said. “The whole thing is a fake. It was put out by Biden. And they put it out because they can’t win an election the fair way.”

“It’s all called election interference,” he said. “Biden put it out because he can’t win the fair way. He’s way down in the polls.”

Following the occasion, Trump departed for the airport en route to his golf club in New Jersey. While on the tarmac, he responded to a reporter’s query, “Is there a possibility that you might consider a plea agreement in Georgia?”

“We did nothing wrong. We don’t ever take a plea deal,” Trump said. “We don’t take plea deals. It’s a wise guy question. You’re just a wise guy. We don’t take plea deals because I did nothing wrong. It’s called election interference.”

Trump is confronting numerous felony charges across two distinct federal lawsuits, and he is also the subject of another case originating from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. Additionally, there is the potential for him to be formally charged in the upcoming days in connection with a case stemming from the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. This particular case pertains to his alleged actions aimed at overturning the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.
