During President Joe Biden’s Fourth of July celebrations, a scandal erupted as the Secret Service launched an investigation to identify the culprit responsible for leaving cocaine in the West Wing.
Hunter Biden, the president’s son, was present at the White House for the festivities, which took place just hours after it was confirmed that a white powder found on the premises contained traces of the illicit drug.

On Tuesday afternoon, Secret Service officials revealed that the cocaine had been found in the West Wing, an area utilized by members of the Biden administration, White House staff, and numerous journalists.
According to radio dispatches from the D.C. Fire Department reviewed by DailyMail.com, the substance was discovered in the library, two floors below the private White House residence and part of the public tour.
The West Wing serves as the hub of activity for the White House, housing the Oval Office, executive staff offices, the Cabinet Room, the Roosevelt Room, and the press briefing room where journalists gather daily for work.
The West Wing is frequented by both career and political White House staff, ranging from the president’s closest advisers to cleaning and maintenance personnel.
Initial reports speculating that Hunter Biden was the source of the illicit drug circulated, but it should be noted that the White House library, where the substance was found, is located in the executive residence and is part of the public tour.
As the Secret Service continues its investigation, the Biden family returned to the White House for Independence Day celebrations, with Joe, Jill, Hunter, Melissa, and their son Beau in attendance.
Amidst the ongoing mystery of how cocaine made its way into the White House, the Secret Service is conducting further testing to identify the source of the substance.
