Former Tucker Carlson producer reaches settlement in lawsuit against Fox News over hostile work environment allegations.
Abby Grossberg, a former producer at Fox News who worked on Tucker Carlson’s show, has reached a settlement with the network regarding her lawsuit claiming a hostile work environment. The lawsuit was voluntarily dismissed by Grossberg in the U.S. Southern District of New York. As part of the settlement, Fox News has agreed to pay Grossberg $12 million to resolve her claims.
A spokesperson for Fox News expressed satisfaction with the resolution, stating, “We are pleased that we have been able to resolve this matter without further litigation,” according to The Hill.
Grossberg’s allegations included claims that she was pressured by the network’s lawyers to provide misleading information about internal editorial procedures during a lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems. Dominion Voting Systems accused Fox News of defamation due to false reporting about the 2020 presidential election.
Additionally, Grossberg asserted that she experienced sexist behavior from top executives while working for both Tucker Carlson and anchor Maria Bartiromo, leading to her termination from the network, as reported by The Hill.
“They destroy people,” she told NBC in March. “I realized that the answers that they wanted me to say were putting me in a very vulnerable position to be the company scapegoat.”
According to The Spectator Washington editor Amber Athey, a former reporter for the Daily Caller, Grossberg’s lawyers acknowledged that she had never personally met Tucker Carlson during her time at Fox News.
“Abby never met Tucker Carlson in person because he taped the show from his personal studios in Maine and Florida,” the lawyers told Athey.

According to Athey, three individuals have allegedly revealed that investigations conducted by Fox News found no evidence of misconduct by the staff of “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” However, Grossberg’s lawyer dismissed this information as “unbelievable” and stated that the legal proceedings are still ongoing.
