The Tennessee state Capitol in Nashville experienced a shutdown this week following the delivery of multiple suspicious packages, leading to an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Although the exact nature of the illicit mail remains uncertain, there is significant evidence pointing towards the possibility of transgender terrorism targeting the Republican-dominated state chamber.

“I am aware of a possible issue involving the legislative offices of some members of House Republican leadership receiving in the mail a white powder substance,” said House Speaker Cameron Sexton. “The sixth floor has been placed on lockdown out of an abundance of caution, and hazmat teams are on scene assessing the situation.”

As per a source who provided information to The Daily Wire, the packages allegedly contained a threatening letter resembling the ones received by Kansas state legislators in the previous week. In Topeka, around 100 letters were sent to Republican lawmakers, accompanied by an enigmatic white powder.

Both sets of documents were signed “your secret despiser,” displaying a distinct LGBTQ aesthetic, and featured the return address of deceased gender activist Angie Arevalo.

“The letters contained obvious threats made by a liberal activist specifically targeting Republicans. The sixth floor of the Cordell Hull Building remains on lockdown while Homeland Security and first responders investigate. All employees and members in the building are safe,” said a statement issued by Tennessee House Republicans.

“This is not okay,” wrote Kansas lawmaker Tory Marie Blew in a post on Facebook after the incident in Kansas. “Yesterday evening I received a call from our Sheriff, Brian Bellendir, to warn me about being careful with my mail. He described the suspicious package/letter and alerted that there could be a white substance in it. This is not okay.”

“My Friday evening didn’t go as planned but a huge thank you to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, FBI, Salina Fire Department, and the Bomb Squad from Fort Riley for your quick response and making sure we are all safe,” Blew continued. “I’m very thankful for our first responders- words can’t describe my gratitude after this event. This is not okay. I don’t know all the details, but as of now only republicans legislators have received this package. According to the latest number, the KBI has been notified of over 70 letters. This is not okay.”
