To celebrate International Women’s Day, Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was given the honor of wielding the speaker’s gavel in the House. This is a remarkable achievement for a career that started a mere two years ago with a Democratic-driven censure.

As she hammered down that gavel and took control of the House, Greene confidently stated, āThe House will be in order.ā Oh, it was a beautiful moment, my friends. This was the first time Greene was given such a high-ranking position, filling in for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
This momentous occasion was symbolic of Greene’s comeback after being in political limbo for two years. The liberal Nancy Pelosi orchestrated her banishment from all House committees because, let’s be honest, the Democrats just can’t handle a strong, opinionated woman with a backbone.
But with the help of the Republicans taking control of the House and McCarthy as Speaker, Greene’s influence has only grown. In fact, after her incredible performance as Speaker pro tempore, she went on to attend a COVID-19 select committee hearing where she’s expected to play a huge role in questioning Biden officials on the Chinese origins of the virus.
We are so proud of Marjorie Taylor Greene and can’t wait to see what else she’ll accomplish in her impressive career. Keep slaying, MTG!
