Breaking: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene Stands Up For Donald Trump Against ‘Lazy’ GOP Blaming The Former President

Well, it certainly wasn’t a red wave that washed over the United States during the mid terms. In many ways, the Republicans did fine and it would only be considered a loss if one went in with unreasonable expectations.

But a wave was what was expected. In particular, it should be noted that a number of candidates endorsed by Donald Trump perform rather poorly. Indeed, a number of Republicans that Trump has publicly shown contempt for did quite well, with Ron DeSantis being the most notable.

It was recently reported by Slay News that:

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has called out “lazy” Republicans trying to blame President Donald Trump for the midterm elections results. While the GOP is close to its goals of sweeping Congress, it wasn’t the “red tsunami” many were hoping for. Most expect the GOP will take the House but by a much smaller margin than predicted.

Thank you Georgia’s 14th district for putting your faith in me to be your voice and your representative in Washington.

It’s my privilege and my honor.

Thank you to all who support me. I am 100% dedicated to fight for America and the American people. I’m looking forward to it.

— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene???????? (@RepMTG) November 9, 2022

The Senate, however, is very close and may come down to a runoff. So it is premature to cast blame because the GOP may still pull it off.

Some Republicans have tried to blame Trump for not delivering the result they wanted.

Greene blasted those blaming Trump as “wimpy.” “Now, they’re trying to blame President Trump today,” Greene said.

“And I want to tell you how shortsighted and ridiculous that is, it is pathetic the people that are running out saying it’s his fault.“No, that is a lazy, pathetic, wimpy, easy mindset.

“They just want one thing and then they want to carry on without doing the hard work – the real changes in the Republican Party and the way we fight the fight.

“Here’s why it’s not Trump’s fault.

“Trump has been being politically persecuted for the past few years now, ever since January 6th.

“He went out and did 30 ‘Save America’ rallies all over the country, he endorsed something like 285 candidates.

Slay News went on to report that:

“He held over 50 fundraisers, helped raise over $350 million for all these public tax patients.

It was further reported by Msn.com that:

Greene, a close ally of Trump, joined the former president on the campaign and trail and has become a major fundraising power within the GOP.

Msn.com further reported that:

“President Trump, isn’t the problem? President Trump is doing everything he can to help Republicans across the country and help Republicans win while he is being already politically persecuted worse than any human being in our country’s history,” Greene argued, parroting a common talking point from Trump.

“That’s the real truth. People that want to blame Trump, they are lazy. And that’s the problem. We have to do the real work, fix our issues and our party to fix issues in our state elections and all over the country,” she concluded.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been on the war path recently. In fact, we reported just yesterday that Greene fired back at the now unemployed U.S. House Rep Liz Cheney (R-WY) after Cheney trashed Greene’s speech at former President Donald Trump’s “Save America” rally in Iowa.

The litany on the indictment contained all the points most Republicans, and indeed Americans, should want. These include primarily the matter of Ukraine. Cheney and Greene represent opposing factions of the Republican Party. Cheney, who represent’s Wyoming, is seen as a more traditional conservative, and has become a pariah in the GOP for opposing Trump’s election fraud claims. Meanwhile, Greene, who hails from Georgia, is one of the most notorious pro-Trump voices in Congress. The two have diverged on myriad issues, including foreign policy.
