Mourners left flowers and even taped a heartfelt note to the front door of Ivana Trump’s Upper East Side apartment after the New York socialite and businesswoman tragically died earlier this week.
Passersby stopped to take photos and some left bouquets of flowers outside of Trump’s East 64th street home, where she was found dead on Thursday at the age of 73 after falling down the stairs.
“We love you Ivana!!! Thanks for your contribution to New York. Rest in Peace,” an anonymous note on the front door read.
“We also Love Trump, OUR NEXT PRESIDENT!!” the note concluded, referencing Ivana’s ex-husband, former President Donald Trump.
The two share three children together: Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric.
Her death, which resulted from either the fall or from going into cardiac arrest, was officially ruled an “accident.”
